About the Artist

Rusty is a world traveled artist who began her career with a degree in Art from Asbury University, Wilmore, Kentucky. She lived eleven years in Italy with her husband and two children. It has been her privilidge to teach creative drawing classes and workshops for children and adults in America and Italy. She has taught both in English and Italian.

Pencil is her favorite media. Rusty also works extensively with colored pencil and silverpoint. She has illustrated magazine articles, pamphlets, and greeting cards. She enjoys teaching and drawing portraits of families children, pets, houses and trees.
